All cases will be lifted unconditionally – Govt.

The protesting Congress Telangana MPs ended their hunger strike after the govt. agreed to withdraw all criminal cases filed during the fight for the separate statehood of Telangana that included protests and agitation.

The MPs wh were fasting broke their fast after Sabita Indra Reddy, state Home Minister handed over a written assurance from the government to KK, senior leader and Rajya Sabha member about withdrawal of the cases.

Keshava Rao told reporters that following the government’s decision, they were terminating their hunger-strike.

Sabitha Indra Reddy, said that all 1,667 cases against 8,047 people would be withdrawn.
