Home Minister says simple/small cases to be lifted

It is known that the TRS MLAs have been protesting for the last 3-4 days for lifting the cases filed on the Telangana supporters and students in the separate state of Telangana movement.
This issue has rocked the assembly and has been a pain in the neck for the govt and the home minister. Finally today on Dec 13 2010, the home minister made an official statement that simple/small cases will be lifted by the police.
But, this has irked the TRS MLAs and the Telangana supporters and they have been protesting for lifting all the cases irrespective of type of the case. T supporters raised anti-govt and anti-police slogans.
