All party meet to be in February?

Copies of the Srikrishna report have been distributed among all the relevant political parties, and the all-party meeting is supposed to factor in their feedback. However, it might not be such a smooth affair given that the last all-party meeting was boycotted by the TRS, TDP, and the BJP, complicating the script further.

The meeting was earlier slated for this month-end, but has been pushed back due to Union Home Minister P Chidambaram’s Davos trip. Besides, the various stakeholders in the Congress – elected representatives from the three regions of the State – have asked for more time to formulate their response.

Kiran Kumar Reddy, who met the Prime Minister for the first time after the committee’s report was out, is said to have given him reactions of different sections to the report. Incidentally, he had not so much as opened his mouth at the last all-party meeting called by the Union Home Minister. Reddy also met Chidambaram and Law Minister Veerappa Moily, the Congress in-charge of AP affairs, separately. His feedback came up for discussion at the Congress core committee meeting, which was attended among others by the PM, party president Sonia Gandhi and Pranab Mukherjee.
