As every Telanganite is wishing and looking forward for the formation of the separate statehood of Telangana, the Congress MPs from Telangana also are showing their support for the formation of the separate statehood of Telangana.
On Jan 2 2011, the cong Telangana MPs threatened to resign if the SKC report does not suggest the separate statehood of Telangana. They demanded that the central government table a bill in parliament during the budget session to carve out a Telangana state.
They said that the leaders attending the meeting on behalf of the congress party should put forward and suggest the need for the separate statehood of Telangana and see that the central govt works on the lines of forming the separate statehood of Telangana.
