Human Rights Commission visits OU campus

The Human Rights Commission visited the Osmania University camus to find out what was happening at the campus premises.

A committee of state human rights commission visited the campus and met students, who complained of police over reacting. The commission sent the nine-member panel following complaints by Telangana lawyers JAC that police were trying to suppress the peaceful agitation.

The committe members talked to the students and found out the real situation that was prevailing in the campus, The students said that the policemen were attacking them with tear gas, pelting stones for no reason. The food and water facilities were not there, the mess were closed and not allowed to open.
