The central home minister PC talking to the media said that the All party meeting that is scheduled for Jan 6 2011 will not be postponed. He re-iterated that all the parties have to come to the meeting as per the invitations.
He also mentioned that he is not he one who decided who and how many people will attend from each party, he said that it is upto the parties leadership as to how many need to attend.
It has to be noted that TRS, BJP have already made a official statement that they will not be attending the all party meet. TDP has yet to confirm if they will attend or not.
Chidambaram, answering a question from media said that he cannot tell the contents of the SKC report until it is released officially on Jan 6 2011
