Rashtha Roko in Telangana on Jan 17 2011

The Telangana Political JAC has called in to observe and conduct Rashtha Roko in the Telangana region, the T political JAC convenor Prof. Kodandaram called every Telanganite to come forward on the streets and block the roads in the Telangana region in protest for tabling a bill in the parliament for the separate statehood of Telangana.
He said that all the other Telangana supporters and organizations have already lent in their support for the Rashtha Roko on Jan 17 2011.
The police department are on high alert with the Rashtha Roko call given by the Telangana Political JAC. The people who have gone to their native places for Sankranthi will be returning back to Hyderabad on Jan 17 2011, they wanted to see that those people not have any difficulties getting back their detinations.
Additional police forces have been deployed on the highways leading to Hyderabad city.
