Readers question, Is this the media for?

The media has been banned from telecasting the events that have been taking place at the Osmania University campus in Hyderabad, They have been restricted from entering the campus. It looks likes an unofficial emergency situation has been imposed in the Telangana region where if the police are brutally attacking the students, firing rubber bullets and as AK Khan said today pellets were fired.
So govt. imposed restrictions not to cover the brutal attacks of police force on the students, then why do to need media, where is the freedom of speech and the thers is no freedom of press. Where are we living?
So, Media is only to show some sensational news and get there TRP rating up and compete with other channels with giving teaser message like… Who is the WOMANISER IPS? or GOVERNOR RASALEELALU?. They can give minute to minute coverage of some Seemandhra factionist getting killed, but when there are clear proof that some political bigwigs are involved, they do not want that to be telecasted.
When governor sleeps with girls, that gets video and picture coverage and they even conduct live talk shows, but when the Telangana students and supporters are fighting for a real and good cause they do not cover them. Is this the media for?
Here is the formula that I can come up for the media.
MEDIA = (ANDHRA RAASA LEELALU + SEEMA FACTION KILLINGS) – (TELANGANA MOVEMENT)
