T supporters mobile phones to be tapped?

It is known to everyone that the SKC report will be made public on Jan 6 2011 and we do not know the outcome of the SKC report as of now.
It is heard that govt is planning to tap mobile phone of some prominent leaders and supporters of Telangana. No one is of sure what will be the outcome of the SKC report. Govt has already shortlisted atleast 1500-2000 strong leaders/supporters in the Telangana region and have setup special police force to track their movements and their whereabouts.
Well, we will have to wait and watch if this can really be done.
