TRS MP, Vijayashanthi arrested

Vijayashanthi, the TRS MP, was arrested Jan 8 2011 at the entrance of the OU campus in Hyderabad, she wanted to go into the OU campus and see the situation of the Telangana students who have seen and experienced the brutality of the police force for the last 3 days..
Policemen warned her from entering the campus, she went into an argument and insisted that she would visit the students in the campus. Policemen said that she cannto go and at that she was stubborn on entering into the campus, she got arrested.
Earlier yesterday on Jan 7 2011, she visited the home minister and requested Sabitha to call back the police force from the OU campus and also she demanded that she gets the permission to see the Telangana thammundlu at the OU campus who have been tortured, beaten by the police brutality.
