TRS decided to boycott the eight-party meeting that will be convened by the central Home Minister, P Chidambaram, on Jan 6 2011.
Talking to the media TRS chief, KCR said that inviting two representatives from each political party by the Centre was nothing but encouraging divergent views on formation of separate Telangana State. TRS does not want to complicate the formation of Telangana issue any more and wanted the central govt. to be clear on their intentions. By inviting 2 people from each political party the central govt. is inviting more trouble than resolving the Telangana issue, KCR commented.
KCR went on to say that, “The TRS party would not attend the meeting”.
