News pulse, Politics | admin | February 12, 2011 at 10:19 amPonnam Prabhankar, the MP from Karimnagar pined that the congress govt in the center should make a decision and carve the statehood of Telangana very soon.
If the congress govt delayed the decision on the separate statehood issue, the opposition parties will be getting all the credit and the congress party will loose the credibility and cannot face the Telanganites.
Ponnam got his share of protests and was almost beaten by the Telanganites when he came to participate in the Racchabanda programme in Karimnagar last month, after the protests he cancelled his Racchabanda pragramme and vowed that he will nor participate in the programme.
Talking to the media, Ponnam Prabhakar said that the Telangana Congress leaders are working on bringing pressure on the Centre to table the separate statehood of Telanagan bill in the upcoming Parliament session.
