Cong MPs raise Telangana demand in Parliament

A bunch of Congress MPs raised the demand for a separate Telangana state in the Lok Sabha, this has shokced the congress high command. When the main opposition party BJP said that it was willing to support the separate statehood of Telangana bill if the government tabled the bill in Parliament.

Congress MPs Ponnam, Mandha and G Vivekanand were up on their feet in the Lok Sabha for over 20 minutes soon after and demanded that they be allowed to raise the Telangana issue. They did not listen to the Home Minsiter PC who urged them to take their seats.
