Delay will lead to disaster

The UPA-led Government at the Centre is using all the dirty tricks to delay the process of bifurcation of Telangana state.Be it known, that Congresswallahs have dubious distinction of buying time to avoid finding an amicable settlement to any vexed issue. Even as the major opposition parties- Telugu Desam and BJP are jostling for space in the separate Telangana movement that pervaded the region now, Congress leaders from the Telangana region are also crying hoarse from their rooftops, that their heart beats for separate State.
Given the dilly-dallying by the Centre over conceding the demand for separate Telangana, the issue is likely to get entangled in all sorts of knotty problems.

After the submission of much-hyped Srikrishna Report, the Centre summoned the political parties and discussed the contents with the leaders. The Centre’s invitation received lukeward response from the major political parties. Only PRP and Commies made their token presence along with a handful of Congress nincompoops. Reams and reams of newsprint were devoted to the Srikrishna Report contents much to the delight of the Andhra leaders.

Truly, speaking setting up of committees and commissions without any firm political commitment is of no use. Such an act will serve the purpose of the manipulators, who are out to derail the process of bifurcation of the State.Tragedy is that Congress leaders from Telangana region have become spineless and are indulging in the shadow boxing to protect their kursi. They are just shedding crocodile tears so as not to incur the wrath of Telanganites.

The real heros of the current Telangana movement are the students, who shunned their academic pursuits to sustain the movement. They are genuinely concerned about the future of Telanganites in the united State. No draconian measure can muzzle the voice of the students of Telangana.

The recent idea of the Centre to once again invite the political parties’ representatives to discuss the issue bears a testimony to the delay tactics of the Centre.Any delay in carving out the separate Telangana will lead to a disaster and certainly, Congress will be thrown out of the gaddi, if it procrastinates the solution to the popular demand for separate State.
