PM says govt to arrive at consensus on Telangana

Manmohan Singh , Prime Minister of India said that said the government was trying to arrive at a consensus on the “complicated” Telangana statehood issue through consultations with political parties, which should be allowed to be pursued to its “logical conclusion”.

Home Minister P Chidambaram, would hold the second round of consultations with all the political parties in Andhra Pradesh on the SKC report which has dealt with the contentious statehood demand, said Prime Minister.

PM was talking to the television editors during an interaction in Delhi.
