Policemen fire at Farmers in Srikakulam

Policemen fired at farmers protesting against a Power plant coming up on their lands in Kakarapalli in Srikakulam dist. This is the second instance of firing on farmers in Srikakulam in last one year. Shame on these governments which kill farmers to make way for power plants.

The Farmers did not even care about their lives and protested the Power Plant coming to their village. A couple of farmers have been killed, but the farmers never stopped protesting. They protested the power plant.

Farmers were angry with the brutality of the policemen, stones were pelted, Buses were set on fire in Srikakulam.
