Prof. Kodandaram released…

Prof. Kodandaram who was arrested earlier in the day at Lalapet and was brought to the Kanchanbagh PS. With the news spreading that the Professor was arrested hundreds of students and Telangana supporters thronged towards the Knachanbagh Police station.
They raised slogans in favour of Telangana and Prof. Kodandaram. The said that the police force wa trying to provoke the peacefully protesting Telangana supporters, They questioned the police authorities the reason why Professor was arrested.
The TRS leaders argued with the police authorities, the police authorities said that Kodandaram was arrested as a precautionary measure. Later after some tension at the Police station and arguments Kodandaram was released from the the police custody at the Kanchanbagh police station.
After his release Kodandaram said that he the police was tryin to provoke the Telanganites and warned thenm of dire consequences if they did not stop the unnecessary arrests of Telanganites ans demanded that all the Telanganites arrested on Feb 21 and Feb 22 be released unconditionally.
