CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC chief DS are trying to convince party MLAs from Telangana region to change their decision and start attending the Assembly. With the Congress high command keen on seeing all party MLAs from Telangana region back in the Assembly at the earliest, the PCC chief has been trying hard to convey the message to them.

It is learnt that the Telangana Congress MLAs have already conveyed to the PCC chief that they cannot change their stance at this point of time, since the main opposition TDP members from the region had already announced their decision to boycott the remaining budget session.

The situation is so dicey for Congress MLAs from Telangana that they are refusing to attend any party meeting as it could send a wrong signal to voters in their respective constituencies. Except for ministers from Telangana region and a few Congress MLAs from Ranga Reddy, at least 30 of them are staying away from the Assembly session. Though most of the MLAs from Telangana region are coming to the Assembly, they are staying away from the proceedings.
