Competition on the Statues
News pulse, Politics | admin | March 17, 2011 at 3:11 amIt is known that Jagan and his group set up a large number of late YSR’s statues. There has been a lot of criticism at that time within the congress govt on setting up the statues.
Now, Jagan jumped out of the congress party and launched his own YSR congress party. The ruling congress govt is of the view that they will have to setup more and more Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi Statue to counter Jagan’s YSR statues.
The congress politicians are already planning on setting up more and more statues in Cuddapah in view of the elections for the Pulivendula MLA and Cuddapah MP by-elections in the next couple of months.
The people of the state are criticising the govt as to what is the need for setting up statues when the govt cannot resolve the real problems of the people.
