Computer training for rural youth in Alair, opening – in vdo

The inauguration ceremony of Telangana Development Forum (TDF – U.S.A) sponsored free computer training camp was held successfully on Sunday, March 27, 2011 in Alair (town & mandal). Prof. Kodandaram, Dr. Andesri, Sriram Vedire & D.P. Reddy were the main guests at the event. Addressing the students, the guests emphasized on staying up to date with the latest skills in software industry to get a strong foundation for further studies and job hunt. The program would provide free training to the poor and deprived from almost 18 villages in Alair and Rajapet mandals. The training is provided through ICIT training institute in Alair (town & mandal) and the classes would start from the 1st week of April 2011. Strict measures will be enforced in selecting the right candidature for the program in order to make sure the fruits are reached to the right people.

1. Bus shelter (currently under construction) built by like minded Telanganites under the supervision of Telangana Development Forum (TDF-U.S.A) in the name of Telangana martyrs on NH 202 (HYD <---> Warangal) on the outskirts of Alair town (near Saibaba temple). The project would serve population from at least 5 villages that rely on public transportation for their daily activities.

2. Development activities undertaken by Telangana NRIs in partnership with local governing bodies/schemes in surrounding villages in Alair mandal.
