No work no pay, says Govt

The telangana employees have been participating in the Non-Cooperation movement for the cause of the separate statehood of Telangana. As many as 300,000 Telangana employees have been participating in the movement since Feb 17 are not likely to get their salaries as the government has decided to impose a “no work no pay” rule.

it has to be noted the employees are marking their attendance, but are not rellay working as part of the Non-Cooperation demanding tabling the separate statehood of Telangana bill in the parliament.

The general administration department will seek individual declarations from employees about the period they have worked in February. The payments are likely to be made after scrutinising the declarations.

The Telangana employees talking to the media said that they are not going to be afraid of the consequences of them particiapting in the Non-Cooperation, they went on to say that they will be intensifying the movement and will participate in the movement until the separate statehood of Telangana is formed.
