The government has spent more than Rs. 20 crore on the Srikrishna Committee which finally delivered them a pack of lies.
Minister of State for Home Gurudas Kamat said in Lok Sabha today that the Central government has set up the Committee for Consultations on the Situation in Andhra Pradesh (CCSAP) headed by Justice (retd) B.N. Sri Krishna on February 3, 2010. “The total expenditure incurred on the CCSAP up to March 4, 2011 is Rs. 20,15,86,242,” he added.
Well, we all know how the SKC made its report, there have been allegations that the SKC report was seemandhra biased and money and property have changed hands so that the SKC submits the report in favour of the Seemandhrites.
20 Crores is the official number, but we know how the govt administration works. It may have been much more than 20 crores.
