The ball is in the court of T-legislators

In the last one and half year Telangana people did every thing that is democratically possible. In the process created some long lasting records. Yet, the central and state governments did not respond because Telangana legislators; MPs, MLAs & MLCs and Ministers, lagged very much behind Telangana people, in taking this most heartrending struggle forward. It is shameful on the part of the Central Government not to respond to such a magnificently democratic effort and to have gone back on its own sovereign decision of forming the state of Telangana. The most ignoble behavior of State Government in stone walling Telangana struggle and unleashing brute force to suppress total mobilization of Telangana people is there for everybody to see.

It proved beyond doubt that we are living in the times of political dwarfs, who cannot understand what is democracy? but use provisions of democracy illegitimately to stall the most democratic aspirations of Telangana people. Sonia Gandhi, who before 2004 was on the high pedestal, has slowly descended to the level of a scheming politician, created a coterie around her and has become a hostage to it. To her, political numbers and money bags to the Party have become more important than the democratic aspirations of people. Sri Manmohan Singh, from his iconic position a few years back has transformed in to a rubber stamp. His sheepish acknowledgements of his indiscretions after the Parliament and Supreme Court had found fault with him speaks about his down fall. His calculated indifference to such an agonizing ‘Telangana Struggle’ makes his democratic credentials and his ability to take any decision in this matter suspect. Pranab Mukherji, the present day Indian‘Machiavelli’ and the chief advisor to Sonia Gandhi in her political gamesmanship, is calling shots on Telangana. If we take his decade long actions on Telangana in to consideration it is very clear that he is hand in glove with Andhra Congress leaders and an antagonist to Telangana.Chidambaram and Antony though positive in their approach, are arm twisted and are not allowed to say much in the matter. Ahmed Patel, Veerappa Moily and Azad are the political brokers, who are cozier with andhras and their money bags and are blocking the way forward to Telangana.

Therefore, except constitutional compulsions like making Central or/and State governments unstable, any amount of democratic struggle is not going to make impression on this unscrupulous Governments comprising of political dwarfs.Telangana people did every thing, in their power to prove their credentials. It is only the T-Congress and T-tdp legislators, whose lackadaisical support to Telangana people has created this impasse. Though of late, because of the dire need necessitated by the pressure from Telangana people they are doing something, it is too little and is not enough to counter the unholy alliance of Central and State governments. They should go all out. Every Telangana legislator (MP, MLA, and MLC) should come together and fight along with Telangana people. They should with draw support to both Central and State governments by resigning to their positions and create constitutional crisis, in whatever manner it is possible in the present sessions of Parliament and Assembly. They should give up thinking about the prospects of their Parties. This hogwash was going on for too long and vexed Telangana people very much. If they still hanker on the future of their parties, and continue to dent this magnificent effort of Telangana people, they will be buried along with their parties. For the patience of Telangana people is running out. It may take little longer, but it is inevitable. Their political future lies with Telangana people not with the unscrupulous CBN and Sonia Gandhi, whose political days are also numbered, if we go by their undemocratic behavior.

Therefore, T-legislators both Congress and TDP! Come together in whole and prove your credentials to Telangana People! Stop your unscrupulous half hearted attempts! You have baulked several chances with your cowardice! It is now or never! The ball is in your court! Do your Duty!
