The news making rounds in the Telangana is that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has strategically decided to suspend its agitation and protest for a separate state until the conclusion of the elections to five states in May 2011.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the top TRS leaders which was presided over by its by TRS chief, KCR. He was of the opinion that since the Congress high command has repeatedly made it clear that any decision on Telangana will be taken only after the conclusion of the elections in five states in May this year,it is better to suspend the agitation until then, the TRS sources said.

It looks like the TRS politicians will be trying to away from the protests and agitations until May 2011.
