The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday directed the central government to make public the eighth chapter of the Justice Srikrishna Committee report on the issue of statehood for Telangana region.

Justice L. Narsimha Reddy, who had reserved his order on March 16, asked the central government to provide copies of the eighth chapter to all political parties.

According to reports doing rounds, the SKC has made some disturbing and unethical recommendations in their 8th chapter. They have allegedly given suggestions on how to suppress the movement which include:

1. Manage the print and electronic media.
2. Manage TRS party or soften it in some way.
3. Prevent Congress MPs and MLAs from joining the movement.

Very unethical. usage of words like “Manage”… what does this mean?
Manage TRS??? soften it is SOME way???? what is some way??? money????
This is democracy… all parties, media have a level of freedom which have to be respected.
A committee which is appointed by the Govt of India should not in any means make such suggestions which are very unruly, partial and unethical.
