Uncertainty continued on Wednesday over the Congress nominee for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat following differences between Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC chief DS over the choice of the candidate.
The Congress has announced the name of Agriculture Minister YS Viveka as its candidate for the Pulivendula Assembly seat, but a formal announcement is yet to be made in respect of the nominee for Kadapa Lok Sabha seat from where late YSR’s son Jagan will be contesting.
There had been meetings in the congress party. CM, N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC chief, DS held two rounds of discussions with senior party leaders from Kadapa district, but the meetings remained inconclusive.
