At a press conference, the former Minister called for setting up of three Congress committees for the new States at the earliest, along with three regional committees, for expeditious development, seeking to justify his stand on propagation of smaller States.

Mr. Rao stated that the three separate States would confine former Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and Telugu Desam Party president N.Chandrababu Naidu to the Rayalaseema State and allow the Congress party to do well in the other two States.
