I do not know, if I have to laugh or cry – KCR

Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president K. Chandrasekhar Rao has ridiculed Mr. Naidu for undertaking the ‘padayatra’ against corruption organised to mark the success of social activist Anna Hazare’s five-day fast which ended on Saturday, saying he did not know whether to laugh or cry. The dilemma of Mr. Hazare in whose support Mr. Naidu walked would be no different.
He said the TDP chief remained silent when a demand to bring Chief Minister under the Lok Ayukta’s purview was raised in the Assembly when he was at the helm.
“In fact, I had raised the demand after Mr. Naidu took pains to explain for one-and-a-half hours how he did not earn even a rupee illegally and that he was a simple soul who was frugal in his eating habits.”
The TRS president was addressing a meeting to declare that a faction of Progressive Recognised Teachers Union led by Mr. Sudhakar Reddy would henceforth function as PRTU Telangana.
