The TRS state executive team which met here today has finalised the programme for the 10th anniversary celebrations(Telangana Udyama Dasabdi) of the party from April 14 to 27. The celebrations will culminate in a public meeting at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad. In case the police denied permission for the public meeting, the TRS has decided to approach the court.
On the inaugural day of the celebrations, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Babasaheb BR Ambedkar who had made a provision for creation of separate states in Article 3 of the Indian constitution, there would be poor feeding and party flag festival in all the constituencies in Telangana, the TRS chief said.
According to Rao, on April 15, service activities would be taken up, including distribution of fruits to patients in hospitals, followed by ‘shramadan’ in slum areas on April 16, donation of blood on 17, health camps on 18, programmes in memory of T-martyrs on 19, rallies by women on 20, Kavi Sammelans by Telugu and Urdu poets on April 21, rallies against the Eighth Chapter of the Sri Krishna Committee on April 22 and Telangana Jataras in all districts on April 24 where prominent leaders would be felicitated.
