Jagan all ’set’ to topple cong govt?

The political analysts say that the moves of Jagan and hia camp means that he is preparing for a showdown of his support and power and will try to topple the congress government in the days to come.

There has been discussions making rounds that Sources close to the YSR Congress chief told this correspondent that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy is ready to take advantage of the rumblings within the state Congress that had started on account of ineffective leadership and the Telangana tangle.

Incidentally, a close aide of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy and the former TTD Board chairman, Mr B. Karunakar Reddy, had told reporters at Vizianagaram, “The Congress MLAs who are fed up with the party and those who feel that they are insecure in the Congress and are not sure of their political future will automatically regroup themselves and withdraw their support from government.”

Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy’s camp claims the support of at least six ministers in the Kiran Kumar Reddy Cabinet and a minimum of 10 Lok Sabha members.

The claim assumed significance when the former minister, Mr Palvai Govardhan Reddy, attacked the infrastructure minister, Mr Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, and his younger brother and Bhongir MP, Mr Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, on Thursday and called them “Jagan converts”.

Another former minister, Mr J.C. Diwakar Reddy, had accused that the daughter of a minister from Anantapur district had visited Pulivendula. Mr Diwakar Reddy always targets Mr N. Raghuveera Reddy.
