Komaram Bheem’s statue on Tank Bund

The state government has cleared the proposal for reinstalling the statues that were damaged during the million march and sanctioned Rs.75 lakhs.
Talking to the media, principal secretary for department of Culture, Mr S. Chellappa said “we will utilise the money for ordering 12 new statues in place of the old ones which were totally damaged and the government will also put up the statue of Komaram Bheem along with the new ones.”
