Telugu desam Telangana Legislators Forum convenor Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Saturday alleged that the Telangana Political joint Action Committee (TPJAC) convenor Kodandaram was acting like an tool of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi by not letting other separate statehood protagonists gain importance.

Mr Janardhan Reddy further alleged that the TRS was only interested in coming to power after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and hence was not allowing any other party to come up in Telangana.

He further alleged that the TPJAC convenor has failed to bring all the pro-Telangana leaders on a single platform to push for a united struggle for a separate state.

“Even as the Seemandhra leaders make united efforts to keep the state integrated, the TPJAC has totally failed to gain the confidence of all Telangana leaders on the separate statehood issue,” Mr Janardhan Reddy told media persons at telugu desam Legislature Party Office.

Demanding that Prof Kodandaram seek the resignation of all Telangana leaders from their parties, the TTDPF convener asked, “Why he is seeking the resignations of only TDP Telangana leaders and trying to pressurize them by saying that they would not be believed unless they part ways with the party?”

Mr Janardhan Reddy continued, “Who is he to seek my resignation from the TDP?”, and alleged that Prof Kodandaram was showing discrimination and partiality against telugu desam Party leaders from Telangana region.

“If all Telangana leaders resign from their parties en mass, I am ready to submit my resignation to my party and participate in Telangana agitation,” he stated.
