Telangana

The Telangana Congress MPs have refused to meet the State party Affairs in-charge Mr Gulam Nabi Azad, who was in Hyderabad to have deliberations with the MLAs, MLCs, MPs, Ministers and leaders of different Party wings on the Party situation in the State at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, along with the Seemandhra MPs. They met separately even though Mr Azad asked them to meet unitedly. The Telangana MPs made it clear they want only separate Telangana.

On the other hand, the Seemandhra MPs met Mr Azad and made it clear that they have no objection to sit along with the Telangana MPs. The Seemandhra MPs, including Mr Kavuri Sambasiva Rao have met Mr Azad and requested Mr Azad to solve Telangana issue immediately. The State will lose economically if the Centre delayed its decision on Telangana issue, they said.
