TDP does not have a clear stand on T

Alleging that TDP had taken an ambiguous stand on the separate statehood issue, the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee asked the party to pass a pro-Telangana state resolution during its ongoing annual conclave.
“TDP does not have a clear stand on Telangana. They are voicing region-wise demands. If the TDP passes a resolution at the ongoing ‘Mahanadu’ (annual party conclave), then we can increase pressure on the Congress government at the Centre,” JAC Convener M Kodandaram told reporters here.
The statements of Telangana-origin leaders of TDP about their commitment to the separate statehood cause would not have credibility as long as the party adopted an unclear stand, he said.
Replying to a query, he said the JAC was open to work with suspended TDP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy if he was willing, and announced his plan of action.
