TDP T forum demands T personalities statues

Telangana Telugu Desam Forum has appealed to Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday to install statues of prominent personalities from the region on Tank Bund while replacing the damaged ones.
In a representation to the Chief Minister that included resolutions adopted at a meeting of the Forum on Monday, the convenor E. Dayakar Rao wanted installation of statues of Komaram Bheem, Kaloji Narayana Rao, Chakali Ailamma, Doddi Komaraiah and Ravi Narayan Reddy.
By other resolutions, the Forum wanted the government to sanction additional funds for the centenary celebrations of Osmania University and to delete para 14 (F) in the Presidential Order before starting the process of recruitment for police sub-inspector posts.
