News pulse, Politics | admin | July 14, 2011 at 4:01 am1st SRC clearly told wait until 1961, Only when 2/3rds of the majority in hyderabad assembly supports it, then merge telangana and andhra. Fearing this will never pass and andhra state will break down under financial problems, Andhra leaders urged and made Nehru agree to the merger in 1956 with out assembly resolution. When you did not do assembly resolution for the merger, Where is the right to ask resolution in state assembly for seperation now? Constitution does not require state assembly resolution to form new states.
