I was not asked to withdraw resignation – Vishnu

The Congress MLA from Jubilee Hills in the city of Hyderabad, Vishnu, the son of late PJR talking to the media said the PCC president, Botsa Satyanarayana, did not ask him to withdraw his resignation. Vishnu met the PCC chief in Gandhi Bhavan as the latter has called the former to meet him at the Gandhi Bhavan.

Vishnu said there was no question of agreeing for anything other than separate Telangana State. It has to be noted that Vishnu was the first Telangana MLA from Congress to come to the Assembly and submit his resignation.

He was also the first legislator from Hyderabad to resign from the Assembly for Telangana cause and called upon all the MLAs from greater hyderabad and submit their resignations for the cause of separate state
