TRS ireked by Renuka Chowdary’s Comments
News pulse, Politics | admin | July 16, 2011 at 9:09 amTelangana Rashtra Samithi activists have not taken kindly to former Khammam MP Renuka Chowdary’s comments on Telangana. Renuka Chowdary had stated that Telangana can be achieved only by being nice to people, and not by the threatening and foul language currently being used by Telangana leaders.
She had also opined that leaders not resigning to show their support for Telangana were right in their own way since they had chosen to listen to their party’s authoritys. She had questioned as to who these external forces were to dictate terms of resignation to her and her colleagues. Today, as the politician tried to enter Khammam for a Bonalu meeting, her workers clashed with those of the TRS, causing some violence. The police had to step in and take charge, in order to calm the situation down.
