The deletion of Clause (f) making Hyderabad a free zone will now be battled before the Supreme Court of India. One of the leaders from the Andhra-rayalseema region said that such an order will not stand the test of law and the Supreme Court will be moved.

He also said that the order of the President has caused heart burn for several persons and hence it needed to be challenged before the court. The leaders from Telangana have however countered this argument and say that the order if valid in law and a Presidential order cannot be challenged before the Supreme Court.\

There has been mixed reaction however to the latest order by the President of India. the Telangana leaders are jubliant and say that a small battle has been won. They however say that the fight does not end here and also added that the protests demanding a seperate state would continue. Pen down strikes and various other agitations have already been planned. Meanwhile in the rest of Andhra Pradesh the reaction has been that of calm. Although there were minor protests no untoward incidents were reported.

The examinations for the post of Sub Inspectors which was the bone of contention in the wake of the Presidential order however passed off smoothly. The Telangana activisits who had demanded that this exam have a retrospective effect failing which they would protest however remained calm. The activists said after such a long battle some good news had finally come and they did not wish to disrupt peace. The police however did not take any chances and maitained a strict vigil across the city.
