‘420′ case on Jagan
News pulse, Politics | admin | August 18, 2011 at 9:33 amThe CBI central office has said that an FIR was registered against the Kadapa MP, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, and EMAAR Properties under Sections 420, 477 and 409 IPC.
In a statement released to the media here on Thursday, the CBI stated that cases were also registered against Mr Jagan’s companies under provisions of Anti-Corruption Act. The communication has stated that simultaneous raids were being conducted at Kolkata, Rajkot, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi, apart from Hyderabad.
It also stated that the EMAAR Properties had committed severe irregularities. It further stated that the CBI had concentrated on the alleged irregularities in the Manikonda township. It added that raids were conducted on a company in New Delhi also. It is learnt that the raids would continue on Friday also.
