CM says decision on Telangana in 2-3 months

Chief Minister Mr. N. Kiran kumar Reddy has said that the central government would take a decision on the Telangana issue within two or three months.

The Chief Minister has launched the Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu programme at Gadwal in the district on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister has expressed confidence that the centre would take a right decision at the right time on Telangana. He has called upon the protagonists of Telangana to concentrate on development till the centre took a decision on Telangana. He said it was improper to act in a way to mislead the youth and impede progress in the meantime. Stating that opportunities would come only once in a life time, he has extolled the youth not to allow opportunities to slip through their hands. He said Telangana problem was 50 year old and asserted that the centre was keen on resolving it.

Reiterating that his government would be providing 15 lakh jobs for the youth, he told those questioning how the jobs would be created that every thing was worked out systematically to make the project a success. He said in this year itself, one lakh jobs would be created. He said the state had created a budget for the students, which no other state in the country had done. He has exhorted the students to go for the courses they wanted to and said there were now opportunities to choose. He said his government had paid scholarships to 27 lakh students this year.
