Cong T ministers ‘U’ turn
News pulse, Politics | admin | August 19, 2011 at 4:03 amExcept three Ministers Damodar Raja Narsimha (deputy chief minister), Danam Nagender and M.Mukesh Goud, the Telangana ministers who made news on july 4, absconding for a show of their love for Telangana, made a ‘U’ turn returning to their duties.
Iinformed sources expressed confidence that with the exception of infrastructure development minister Komatireddy Ventakata Reddy from Nalgonda district, all the Telangana ministers who deserted their offices, have decided to be back in the secretariat.
Some of them also expressed apprehensions over their re-entry into the 2014-cabinet, if their party returned to power.
Irrigation minister P.Sudhrashan Reddy has opted for ‘Darshan’ of lord of Seven Hills before resuming his duties while home minister P.Sabitha Reddy and Horticulture minister Ramreddy Venkatreddy were seen here today entering their official chambers to begin their innings again after a long ‘paid’ break.
Minister for information and public relations D.K.Aruna had already made her presence felt on the day of cabinet briefing at secretariat. She was part and parcel of world photography celebrations, while pragmatic minister for endowments and information technology Ponnala Laxmiah attended an official function at Taj Deccan here today.
Another pragmatic Telangana minister, who did not find a cabinet berth in Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy’s government, K Jana Reddy from Nalgonda district, returned post haste from Kerala to attend the recent cabinet meeting. The minister cut short his medical holiday in kerala.
