The YSR Congress Party leader and former minister, Konathala Ramakrishna, has said that countdown for the Congress govt led by Kiran Kumar Reddy has begun. Talking to the media here on Wednesday, Konathala said his party was ready for the local body elections and challenged the government to hold the polls if it had guts. He also clarified that none of the MLAs of the Jagan group would go back to the Congress.

Ramakrishna said that the Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, who said that the name of late chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was not included in the FIR of the CBI should once again look into the FIR. Shobha Nagi Reddy,t he once upon a time TDP and recently PRP politician said that it was ridiculous on the part of the Chief Minister to bluff that YSR’s name was not included in the FIR. She said the people would not believe the words of the Congress leaders. She has questioned why the government, which had filed a counter petition in Mr Rosaiah’s case, had not done so, questioning the inclusion of YSR’s name.

Nagi Reddy also questioned how the government which had diluted the welfare schemes of late YSR could celebrate his death anniversary.
