Telangana TDP forum convenor Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Thursday lashed out at the political JAC and its convenor Prof. Kodandaram for its alleged second fiddle role to the TRS. Speaking top media persons at Warangal, the TDP leader said the Telanganites in general and TRS followers in particular were deliberately tarnishing the image of the TDP leaders in the region.
Though the TDP was the first political party to tender the resignations and sacrificing 33 MLA posts for the sake of Telangana state, the political supporters of TRS were trying to divert the public attention by unleashing a malicious propaganda on the Desam, he said.
The Telangana leader has criticised that the JAC and its supporting groups have intentionally chased the TDP leaders from a teachers dharna after inviting them in the dharna chowk of Hyderabad on Wednesday. People should realise the fact that the Telugu Desam Telangana leaders were always supporting the ethnic demand of telangana and they were following the foot steps of student movements while securing the statehood for Telanganites.
The press conference covered various aspects pertaining to alleged embezzlement of funds of telangana movement by the TRS supremo KCR andother aspects covering amassing wealth in the name of movement by the TRS leadership.
The TDP leader while reiterating the stand of Telangana Desam leaders said that the local leadership was opposing the seemandhra polit buro members in this demand. Similarly the local leadesrhip was not that much rich enough to form a new party for the Telangana movement. He said the TDP local leaders were differing with the strategies of JAc but they were not favouring the formation of another JAC in this region for leading the separate statehood struggle.
