News pulse, Politics | admin | August 21, 2011 at 9:51 amTelangana Congress MP G Vivek criticized the ministers from Telangana regions for their participation in the cabinet meeting and attending to official duties. Participating as chief guest at the Meet-the-Press being organized under the aegis of Telangana Working Journalists Union at Haca Bhavan, G Vivek said the ministers have sent a wrong message to Telangana people by attending to their duties and their participation was leading to resentment among people in the region. He said the Telangana people were feeling that the leaders have cheated them once again on the Telangana statehood.
Vivek said the steering committee would discuss the ministers attending Cabinet meetings and future course to be adopted towards on Telangana state formation. He said that the Congress high command would take a favourable decision on Telangana state. The party would suffer major loss in the region if it takes any un-favourable decision on the statehood issue, he said.
He said that the steering committee would also discuss the ongoing general strike and would make its stand clear after the meeting.
