Youth ending lives due to leaders betrayal

Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (JAC) Chairman M Kodandaram today said the youth and students in Telangana region were laying down their lives for the cause of statehood only due to the betrayal of political leaders. Speaking at a seminar on how to stop the suicides at press club here, he said the suicides by the youngsters was because of Congress Ministers and other parties who had backtracked after submitting their resignations.
Prof Kodandaram said the elected representatives should own moral responsibility for the tragedies. Coming down heavily on Seemanadhra capitalists for creating obstacles in the formation of Telangana state, he said they feared that they would loose their power and contracts. He called upon the people to fight for Telangana state emulating the fights in Egypt and Libya and contended that laying down lives was not a solution to the problem
