YSR, Naidu used black money to suppress T movement

Telangana Rashtra Samiti politburo member B Vinod Kumar alleged that Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu and former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy have used their illegal wealth to water down the Telangana agitation.

Talking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan, Vinod Kumar alleged that both Naidu and YSR misused their political power and amassed illegal wealth by selling precious lands in the surroundings of Hyderabad. The same money was used to suppress the Telangana statehood agitation.Vinod said that the Centre has been using same formula to detain social activist Anna Hazare in New Delhi, who launched crusade against corruption across the country.

“What was the need to arrest Anna Hazare?” he asked. Condemning the arrest of Anna Hazare, he asked Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi to ensure his release by involving the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. He said the TRS would extend total support to Anna hazare in his fight against graft.

Expressing wonder over TDP president N chandrababu Naidu’s padayatra in support of Anna Hazare, Vinod said there was no meaning in Naidu taking out padayatra as he himself encouraged corruption at many places. Naidu has no moral right to talk on corruption, he stated.
