Advocate P.V. Krishnaiah, who is appearing in a series of cases filed against the TRS and the TJAC, was allegedly attacked by a group of advocates on the court premises. He briefed Chief Justice Nisar Ahmad Kakru of the attack and lodged a complaint with the police and the court registrar-general.
Court proceedings were affected as T-advocates prevented anyone from entering the court halls. Even as this was on, a division bench comprising Chief Justice Nisar Ahmad Kakru and Justice Vilas V. Afzulpurkar issued notices to the state government, TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao and TJAC convenor Prof Kodandaram on a plea challenging the ongoing strike.
