News pulse, Politics | admin | September 25, 2011 at 7:34 amThe senior Congress leader and Panchayat Raj Minister, Mr K Jana Reddy, is reportedly contemplating to quit the State cabinet once and for all by the end of this month. However, it is being said that he might not quit his Assembly membership. It is being said that Mr Jana Reddy is likely to set up a forum for achieving Telangana State.
The senior Congress leader from Nalgonda district will be going to New Delhi along with the Telangana leaders today. He is likely to take a decision after holding discussions with the AICC State in-charge, Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad. Mr Azad, who is presently abroad is likely to come back on Sunday or Monday. Several top Congress leaders, including the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, and the Union Finance Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, are also in foreign tours. This time, the Telangana Congress leaders are bent upon spending as long as necessary in New Delhi and come back to Hyderabad only with a definite assurance. They are likely to make efforts to meet the Congress president, Ms Sonia Gandhi, and the Prime Minister during their sojourn in Delhi.
