KCR’s bomb ‘New Telangana’

None of his deadlines were met. Still people believe him, because he keeps thinking of new things to tell the people all the time.

Now the new bomb he has exploded is that the center has put before him the proposal of forming Telangana state with Anantapur and Kurnool districts of Rayalaseema.

KCR is stating that Congress has sent this proposal to him through MIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi.

However, Asaduddin has denied KCR’s claim. He says he has gone to KCR only to discuss about Sachar Committee report. Sachar Committee was appointed in 2005, by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to study the social, economic and educational condition of the Muslim community in India.

Even Congress leaders are stating that no such proposal has ever been discussed. Even the ‘T’ Congress leaders who met AICC in charge of state affairs Gulam Nabi Azad and Defense Minister A K Antony have said that no such proposal came up for discussion. Some of the TRS leaders themselves are stating that they want the Telangana that was merged with Andhra back.

Then why did KCR blast this new bomb? Even if the center was thinking of forming Rayala Telangana as demanded by the MIM, why would they eliminate Chittoor and Kadapa districts of Rayalaseema? Is it because Chittoor is the strong hold of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Kadapa that of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy? What is the logic behind this new proposal brought forward by KCR?
